Life's School

Life is like a training school

Each lesson planned and set.

Rehearse each one over and over

Lest one we might forget.

So memorize all the lessons

Learn each and every rule,

And you will pass with honors

In life's tough and rugged school.

Not all the lessons that we learn

Are easy for us to understand,

We just need to know that using them

Is part of life's overall plan.

Our destiny is set for us

The day that we are born,

Though at times the road is rough

If we keep our faith we won't be torn.
